I think this TIC TOC group has been a beautiful experience. I wish that I had learned of this program BEFORE tragedy struck in my family. I would recommend that everyone who has children attend the 12 weeks of this program to learn the red flags just in case it is happening to your family members.

I think that the court system where I work in Boone County and Kenton County would be lost without the service that VISITS provides. There is no other facility in our community that is provided this needed service. In each instance where I have been involved with the use of the VISITS program, the services have been highly professional, feasibly priced for the families and wonderful.

As a clinical psychologist who frequently conducts child custody evaluations, visitation evaluation and assessments of adult and juvenile male sex offenders, I find the Family Nurturing Center's service to this community to be of the utmost importance for the children and families they service. Their primary goal is to protect and advocate for the psychological well-being of children.

The CAMPS program was my first real experience where dedicated, bright people really wanted to help unselfishly. Does this program really work? The answer is a resounding YES. It brought respect and manners to a teenager who once could not respect her stepfather. CAMPS brought understanding to a stepfather who could not relate to his stepdaughter.

The Family Nurturing Center has been an excellent resource for the families we serve. They truly believe in a collaborative effort and hae demonstrated on numerous occasions their willingness to work with the Cabinet for Families and Children on specific cases and on community based endeavors.

Family Nurturing Center provided excellent training in "Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect" for Redwood's Therapeutic Child Care staff.
