Supporting the Family Nurturing Center®

What can I do to help?  The economy has put a strain on everyone’s wallet.  This strain can be too hard for many to bear and can create stress and tension in the home.  It’s the youngest members of the household that can take the brunt of the strain.  Every dollar donated to Family Nurturing Center makes a difference in the life of a child. 

Family Nurturing Center accepts Visa and MasterCard.  Checks should be made payable to Family Nurturing Center.  All donors receive acknowledgment statements for tax purposes.

How can you give?

• Make a contribution of cash, stock or real estate;
• Use GoodSeach or GoodShop and designate Family Nurturing Center;
  
• Volunteer in a direct service capacity;
  
• Ask your place of employment about matching gift opportunities;
  
• Encourage your church or school to participate in our annual Penny Drive;
  
• Encourage your company to provide corporate support;
  
• Attend fundraisers and special events to benefit Family Nurturing Center®;
  
• Hold a gift gathering party to raise important items for Family Nurturing Center®;
  
• Remember Family Nurturing Center® in your estate planning;
  
• Participate on a committee or on our Board of Directors;
  
• Wear a blue ribbon to remind others of child abuse prevention and awareness opportunities;
  
• Be an ambassador for children---spread the word that child abuse is preventable;
  
• Host a parenting seminar at your place of work;
  
• Support your local United Way campaign.
  

Shop at Bigg’s in Florence from December 6, 2009 to March 27, 2010 and participate in their Six Sense program!

Using any reusable grocery bag, you will receive $.06 off of your purchase.  Then you will be given a wooden token that you can place in a bucket marked Family Nurturing Center.  At the end of the promotion, Bigg’s will donate all proceeds ($.06 for every token) to Family Nurturing Center.  What a great way to support our mission and help the environment.  Every penny counts!
