HOPE (Helping Others Parent Effectively) The HOPE (Helping Others Parent Effectively) Program is a comprehensive Parenting Education and Support Program designed to meet the needs of at-risk families referred by Hamilton County Job and Family Services. A range of services is available to address common parenting issues as well as more intensive needs for target populations. Services include comprehensive intake and assessment of family needs; case planning, delivery of evidence-based Nurturing Parenting Programs; delivery of specialized therapeutic parenting groups for families impacted by child sexual abuse, domestic violence or mental health need to address their unique parenting needs; Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to provide more intensive services for identified families and monthly aftercare groups to reinforce skills learned, provide opportunities for parent mentoring and to share challenges and successes in implementing the concepts learned. This range of services will assist families with complex needs and provide specific, targeted interventions to at-risk populations. This program is funded by Hamilton County Job and Family Services http://www.hcjfs.hamilton-co.org and is open only through referral from HCJFS.
